It would be true to say that Safari Consultants like a challenging booking enquiry – and the more specific the better, usually. It makes their job interesting to begin with, but it also gives them a chance to respond to the challenge by presenting you with the very best of the wildlife of Africa, a subject that they have followed with a passion for more than thirty years. Their knowledge and their contacts on the ground are second to none.

Every Safari Consultants trip is tailor-made from scratch and refined by consultation (as their company name indicates) until it becomes the best possible holiday for your interest and budget – this is of course the value of using a true specialist. The company’s geographical range covers around a dozen countries in southern and eastern Africa, from Kenya down to South Africa, plus Madagascar, and then extends (for the occasional beach visit) into the Indian Ocean to Mauritius and the Seychelles. 

Safari Consultants is a small outfit, but between them they have an immense amount of experience, so whether you want a honeymoon, or a family trip (with small children or teenagers – it’ll make a difference), or to see a particular bird or animal, they’ll be happy to share their knowledge and will design an itinerary for you. They have all the extras if you want them – from ballooning to bungee jumping and battlefield to vineyard tours. 

And of course they’ll book a regular itinerary you – say four nights in a luxury lodge and then three in Capetown - but to get the best of Safari Consultants you really need to be interested in the authentic roots of the African safari. They’re happiest if you are particularly keen on wildlife – and the more exotic the better.
