Visions of Africa is a UK-based tour operator with a speciality in southern and eastern Africa (plus a few islands in the Indian Ocean). They offer safaris, of course, and general sight-seeing, but also offer a nice line in beach holidays and general nosing about.

Visions of Africa covers almost all the countries of southern Africa, from Kenya in the north-east to Cape Town at the south-western tip of South Africa. As an area specialist they can help you get the best of the region. This includes safari of course, so you can see Africa’s big game and migrations, from personally chosen lodges, but you can also learn from San tribesmen and see rock carvings and witness extraordinary African landscapes such as the dunes of Namibia. 

Visions of Africa has a number of suggested holidays and itineraries, including some escorted and self drive tours in South Africa, but the company is happy to adapt a trip to suit a particular interest. So if you want to spend time playing golf or fishing they can help. And of course they often add on a beach stop at the end of a holiday (or just arrange a beach for the week anyway) – they also have a portfolio of hotels in Zanzibar and along the coast as well as some on Mauritius and the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
